What makes this space unique is that we started with an unusable terraced backyard and were able to create a functional outdoor area. This design lends itself well to entertaining and recreational activities while maintaining a three tiered terrace that complements the neighbor’s backyard grade.
Project Components:
- This outdoor recreation area includes a turf area, swimming pool with waterfall, bocce ball court, stone walls & steps, boulder accents, and a pea gravel & stone patio with metal fire pit.
- Low Voltage Outdoor Lighting includes spot lights on the bocce ball court, up-lights & accent lights on the stone walls, and we used the boulders to wash light into the activity area.
- We installed softscape which includes sod and plantings.
- Proper drainage is important in any outdoor living space. This design and layout was done around the existing septic system.
