Paving Birmingham AL
Our design team will help choose the right paver for your project. We primarily use Belgard and Old Castle paver products, because a good reputation and quality is their goal, as well as ours.
Permeable Pavers
Basic in form, with a clean, modular shape, permeable pavers are an attractive, yet practical choice, easily adaptable to a wide range of design options. Strength and durability are combined with environmental compatibility, reducing water run-off, and ADA compliance for Floor or Ground Surface standards.
Cobblestone
Recalling the narrow, cobbled streets of Europe, these pavers are crafted with a natural stone cleft finish for the look and feel of time-worn cut stone. Strong and durable, cobblestone is perfect for high- traffic areas and offers a wide range of both color and pattern potential.
Peacock Pavers
Peacock Pavers are remarkable replications of Old World stone that can be used indoors and out. Handcrafted in architectural-grade concrete, they possess the beauty and texture of ancient crosscut Italian travertine, yet they’re surprisingly affordable and offer far more design versatility.
Perfect for new construction, remodeling projects and landscaping, they lend distinction to floors, terraces, fireplace facings, swimming pools, pool decking, water features, driveways and more. Trim pieces are available to add those finishing touches.
Brick Pavers
Unlike clay bricks, Brick Pavers have a long life and are very durable to high traffic areas.
Paver Repair
The Nelson Team can properly repair what the “other guy” tried to fix. We at The Nelson Team use a product called polymeric sand. This sand sets up like mortar but is flexible and does not crack or come out because of frost heave.
Interlocking Concrete Pavers
Interlocking concrete pavers is a method for installing pavers so that pressure is pushing on each paver from all sides. This insures that the paver is locked in where it cannot move. Here at The Nelson Team, we understand this interlocking concept and are trained extensively for this type of installation. You can choose any type of concrete paver in which to interlock.
